There are 61 churches, two libraries, two newspapers, eight network

Parks and Recreation
Chico is home to Bidwell Park, one of the largest Municipal Parks in the
United States. Spanning more than 3,700 acres, the park offers something for
everyone to enjoy. Hiking and biking trails, equestrian trails, swimming, picnic
areas and more.

Chico’s four distinct seasons make it a outdoor recreation haven. Tee off
at Bidwell Park Municipal Golf Course, kayak down the Sacramento River,
